At
Brämhults Juice we don’t see ourselves as juice manufacturers. Really good
juice is not something you produce; you squeeze it from fresh fruit. So we
prefer to call ourselves juice squeezers.
Oranges are the fruit we squeeze most of at
the moment, but it actually all began with carrots. In autumn 1948, when the
carrots were exceptionally juicy and good, a man called Sigvard Berggren
(who later founded Borås Zoo) decided to start selling freshly pressed
carrot juice.
The freshly squeezed juice was a success.
It was healthy and people liked it. More and more people began asking if the
company would start juicing fresh fruit as well. And we did! Today you can
find between 20 and 25 different juices and smoothies on supermarket
shelves. Our juices can be bought in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
Everyone who works here has their own
favourite juice. It has been that way ever since we started selling
different types, and our freshly squeezed orange juice has been a firm
favourite for all that time.
